Behavioral health services are designed to provide practical, skills-based support for children, teens, young adults, and families. These services are not the same as mental health therapy, but they can still be incredibly helpful for building coping skills, emotional regulation, social skills, routines, parenting tools, life skills, and everyday confidence. Behavioral health groups may be a good fit for clients who need extra support, are waiting for individual therapy, or would benefit from structured skill-building in a supportive setting. Medicaid may be billed for eligible clients, which means some families may be able to participate without paying out of pocket.
