Abbe Adams, Intern

My name is Abbe Adams, and I am currently a practicum student in the Clinical Mental Health program through Adams State University. One of my greatest passions is working with children, and I have had the opportunity to work with kids in a variety of settings for several years. I have always felt a strong inclination to help others and support the people around me through challenging moments in their lives. I am particularly interested in play therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and utilizing a person-centered approach to support clients in a meaningful and collaborative way. In my free time, I enjoy trying new crafts, reading mystery novels, and staying active.
