About Me: Karla Montero is a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University, with a
deep passion for helping people reconnect with their inner strength and authenticity. With a background in
Communication Studies and over ten years of experience in emotional wellness, mindfulness, and
compassionate leadership, Karla offers a gentle and grounded presence in her work. As a certified Self-
Love Coach, Spiritual Support Practitioner, and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, she integrates traumainformed
and heart-centered approaches that promote self-awareness, healing, and personal growth.
Rooted in emotional intelligence and cultural humility, Karla creates a safe and supportive environment
where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Drawing from her experiences in educational, spiritual, and
