Mental health groups offer a supportive therapeutic space for clients who may be navigating similar challenges, goals, or life experiences. In group therapy, participants have the opportunity to build connection, practice new skills, receive support, and feel less alone in what they’re working through.

At Creative Directions, our mental health groups may include play therapy, social skills groups, anxiety support, trauma-focused groups, animal-assisted therapy, geek therapy, board game therapy, Dungeons & Dragons groups, and other creative therapeutic approaches.

Each group is facilitated by a licensed or supervised mental health professional and is designed with emotional safety, clinical support, and meaningful connection in mind. Our goal is to create a space where participants feel seen, respected, and supported as they build confidence, strengthen relationships, and grow in ways that feel real and sustainable.

Participants will have opportunities to play structured board games while working on skills like turn-taking, communication, cooperation, handling disappointment, and building confidence with peers.

This group is community-based and will take place at BoardFox Games, giving kids a natural social setting to practice skills outside of the therapy office.
