Hannah Vandehei, Intern

I am a Master’s student at Adams State University in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I am in my second semester, where I get to start shadowing and co-counseling clients under the supervision of a licensed counselor. I am originally from China and was adopted at a very young age by an American family from Michigan/Wisconsin. I was raised in Michigan until I started college in Colorado. I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology-Counseling from Colorado Mesa University in Psychology-Counseling. My early work is with elementary-aged children after school hours, providing tutoring, social, behavioral, and emotional learning. Because of the experience of working with groups and individuals, my goal is to work with individual clients and have their age range be from 5 to18. I am excited to grow and learn with Creative Directions and their contractors, as well as become a fantastic child counselor.
