A creative outlet I enjoy: Singing is one of my creative outlets. I enjoy lifting weights, spending time with my family and friends, and watching a good funny movie :-)

My favorite way to enjoy nature: my favorite way to enjoy nature is being in Hawaii with my toes in the beach and the waves hitting my legs. While in Colorado I love kayaking :-)

About Me: I'm a mother, a grandmother, a wife, a sister, an auntie, and a friend. I have worked with children and families for 20 plus years through different arenas; School district, ministry, case management, preschool teacher, sex assault advocate, School counseling, and currently as a therapist. I have been married for 27 years have two children, two grandchildren and a wonderful beautiful certified therapy dog makai. One of my passions has been to support families and children connecting them with healthy supports so that they can have healthy families. I am multiracial and understand the different facets of that in itself can bring. I have a certified therapy dog named Makai the guy, that's his nickname his legal name is Makai Norman Lyons. Once you meet him you might just fall in love with them. it is my goal to bring hope and creative solutions and coping skills to help individuals continue on their beautiful journey :-)
