About Me: Hello! My name is Lesa Theaman, MSW, CSWC, and I’m thrilled to call Grand Junction my new home. My academic journey began at the University of Nevada, Reno, where I earned dual Baccalaureate degrees in Sociology and Gender, Race, and Identity. I became the first graduate at UNR to complete a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) degree. Building on this foundation, I pursued my Master of Social Work at my alma mater, deepening my commitment to understanding the human condition and fostering meaningful connections. In my final year of graduate school, I returned to my roots in Colorado to complete my practicum with Identity Insights Group under the direct supervision of Kyra Logsdon, who continues to guide me as I prepare for licensure. My passion lies in integrating mental health care with a holistic understanding of how the mind, body, and environment shape our overall well-being. I firmly believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, it’s a dynamic and collaborative journey that reflects our unique relationships with ourselves and the world around us. I’m excited to bring my skills, curiosity, and dedication to this community, and I look forward to contributing to the mental health and wellness of the Grand Junction area.
